Gaetano Sardo was born in Asmara in 1943, graduated in law in 1966 at the “Università degli Studi di Catania”, was admitted to the Bar in 1969 and to plead before the Corte di Cassazione in 1984. His main area of practice is in the field of civil law, international commercial law, commercial and company law and contract law, in judicial and non-judicial matters, on behalf of corporations and private clients, both Italian and foreign.
He often speaks at national and international conferences on international conventions, arbitration, international commercial guarantees, international private law and the forensic profession in Europe. He is a former national vice-Chairman of the A.I.J.A. (Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats) from 1982 to 1988, of which he is now Honorary vice-Chairman. He is a former Chairman of the “Commissione Rapporti Internazionali dell’Ordine degli Avvocati di Milano” (International Relations Commission of the Milan Bar Association) (1995-2000), of which he is the Founder and the Honorary Chairman.
He is the Founder and current Honorary Chairman of the “Associazione Internazionale Giuristi di Lingua Italiana” (AIGLI).
