James Gordon

James studied law at Oxford University before spending two years at one of the big four Japanese securities houses. He trained at Linklaters and subsequently worked for them in London, New York and Tokyo. In 1994, he left Linklaters to become one of the founding partners of Gordons. As well as being a solicitor since 1988, he was admitted as an attorney and counsellor at law at the Bar of the State of New York in 1990.

James is a highly rated corporate and banking lawyer based in Gordon's London office. His expertise is in banking, securities, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and commercial tie-ups generally.
